American Guncrafters is a Type 01 FFL Dealer. Founded as a gunsmithing shop, we have evolved by adding a small store stocking new & used guns and firearm accessories to supplement the gunsmithing. Our services include firearm repair and modification, blueing, firearm transfer and instructional classes.

Robert S. (Bob) Maroldy is the Owner.Gunsmith/Instructor. Bob is a Benefactor member of the National Rifle Association (NRA), and a member of the Ohio Gun Collector’s Association (OGCA), Buckeye Firearms Association (BFA) and the American Gunsmithing Association (AGA).

Bob has been repairing guns for over 50 years and has built competition-winning 1911 auto pistols.
